Product story

Why it exists.

HTMLtoMP4 grew from the same HTML-animation practice behind HTMLHub. It turns those browser-native experiments into repeatable video assets for creators, developers, agencies, and automation workflows.

Origin: Turn HTML animation into reusable video without recording the screen or sending private source files to a hosted renderer.

Built to give creators and developers a repeatable local path from browser animation to production-ready video.

Problem

What needed solving

A reliable way to turn browser-native animation into video without screen recording, cloud upload queues, or rebuilding the work in a timeline editor.

Built

What we built

A Windows x64 desktop workflow using bundled Chromium, deterministic animation stepping, frame capture, FFmpeg encoding, NVENC acceleration, and CPU fallback.

Outcome

What exists now

A shipping local renderer with a free trial, real application captures, batch controls, and documented output up to 4K at 60fps.

Verification

Proof you can inspect.

Verified against htmltomp4.com and the HTMLtoMP4 marketing repository on July 15, 2026.

  • 01 The product page shows real Windows trial screens for selection, encoder detection, progress, completion, and output.
  • 02 A public comparison shows a live HTMLHub animation beside the H.264 MP4 rendered from the same HTML.
  • 03 The downloadable trial documents 10 local renders, 1080p output, 10-second duration, and one-file-at-a-time limits.
