Product story
Why it exists.
Nerdbot was built to make AI feel native to the browser instead of forcing people to copy context between tabs. Users choose the provider, decide when page content is shared, and can mix hosted APIs with local models.
Origin: Put a practical multi-provider assistant beside the work already happening in the browser, with user-controlled context and credentials.
Shipped as a public extension so people can install a capable browser-side assistant while keeping provider choice and key ownership in their hands.

A polished Chrome MV3 side-panel extension with streaming chat, six AI providers, page and multi-tab context, screenshots, custom skills, voice tools, and an Orama-powered local knowledge base.
